The Dermatological Program for the Intensive Treatment of Psoriasis is a comprehensive treatment program to address not only psoriatic lesions on the skin, but also to address the psychological aspect together. For this reason, techniques are included to reduce stress and find relaxation, as it has been shown that psychological stress (which affects 90% of psoriatic patients), causes the activation of triggers of disease.
The intensive treatment for psoriasis consists of the evaluation by the spa doctor indicating the areas to be treated with Sulphaterm’s own mud, designed specifically for use on the skin and which comes from algae that grow in sulphurous water. ; combining it with natural sulphurous water vapor stoves and immersions in special baths with water also rich in sulfur.
Together they will perform techniques to find calm and relaxation such as yoga, underwater massages (Vichy Shower) and the Shirodara experience, a technique of Ayurvedic medicine specially designed to lead the mind to deep relaxation.
